Our 131 Main Street is in the heart of beautiful downtown Wellsboro. This circa 1860 home features king beds in its two rooms. Walk to restaurants and shops, stroll the gas lights on the boulevard and relax on the porch or in the front room with original full-length windows.

We also took advantage of the $10 in Wellsboro cash for meals both times. There really isn’t anything in Wellsboro, PA but a quick little main street you might miss if you blink, but if this was closer to home, we would definitely come back. It was one of the coolest places I have ever stayed.

Great place to relax Great place to stay just to relax, ride the trail, or visit Wellsboro. The decor is nicely done; Bear Mountain is obvious everywhere.

We really only stopped in Wellsboro because it was on our way to Niagara falls and I can’t be in the car for a long time without getting fidgety. Well ironically, this was my favorite place we stayed for the entire trip. We stopped on our way to Niagara and on out way back to Baltimore a week later.
